Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy explains how the Cour.pro UK learning platform (the “Service”) should and should not be used. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to account holders and to the children who learn with us. If you are worried about a child’s safety, please also see our Safeguarding page.
- Be kind and respectful.
- Keep your login secret — don’t share it, not even with friends.
- Use the Service to learn. Don’t try to break it or trick it.
- Don’t put anything mean, rude or upsetting into the Service.
- If something feels wrong or upsets you, tell a grown-up you trust.
1. Respectful behaviour
Everyone using the Service should be respectful. Do not use the Service to bully, harass, threaten, or be unkind to anyone, and do not use offensive or discriminatory language.
2. Account security
Keep your login details private and secure. Do not share your password or let anyone else use your account. Account holders are responsible for activity on their account and should supervise a child’s use as appropriate to the child’s age.
3. No misuse of the platform
Do not attempt to break, disrupt, overload, hack, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems. Do not use bots, scrapers or automated tools to copy content, and do not try to get around security or usage limits.
4. No harmful or illegal content
Do not upload, submit or share anything that is unlawful, harmful, obscene, hateful, or that infringes someone else’s rights. Do not introduce viruses or malicious code.
5. Personal, educational use only
The Service is licensed for personal educational use by the account holder’s family. Do not use it for commercial purposes, and do not resell, redistribute or share access to our content. Content is licensed, not sold — see our Terms of Service.
6. Consequences of breach
If this policy is breached, we may take action that is proportionate to the breach — including a warning, removing content, or suspending or ending access to the Service. We may also report serious or unlawful behaviour to the relevant authorities. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will let the account holder know first.
7. Reporting a concern
If you see something that breaks these rules, or you have a safeguarding concern, please contact us at [DPO EMAIL] or visit our Safeguarding page. We take reports seriously and will respond promptly.
