About us

Calmer, fairer preparation for every child

We believe exam preparation shouldn’t mean stress, late nights or guesswork. Cour.pro UK exists to make great practice personal, kind and genuinely effective — for the 11+, KS2 SATs and GCSEs.

Our mission

To give every child practice that actually fits them

Too often, preparation means the same worksheet for every child, marking that arrives too late to help, and parents left wondering whether it’s working. We set out to change that with technology that adapts to each child, marks instantly with clear explanations, and keeps families informed without the anxiety.

Our goal is simple: a child who feels prepared and calm on exam day, and a parent who understood the journey every step of the way.

Our story

The UK home of Cour.pro

Cour.pro UK is the United Kingdom arm of Cour.pro, bringing a proven approach to adaptive learning to British families and schools. We were inspired by the best-in-class adaptive learning platforms emerging worldwide — and by a conviction that this approach could be done with far greater care for children’s privacy and wellbeing.

So we built Cour.pro UK specifically for the UK context: the 11+ in GL- and CEM-style formats, KS2 SATs foundations and the GCSE specifications families here actually sit. Just as importantly, we built it to the standards that matter in the UK — UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the ICO’s Age Appropriate Design Code (the Children’s Code) — from the very first line of code, not as an afterthought.

What we stand for

Our values

Privacy-first

High-privacy settings by default, the minimum data needed, no ads and no profiling of children. We treat your family’s data as we’d want our own treated.

Evidence-based

Our methods draw on well-established learning science — adaptive difficulty, immediate feedback and spaced repetition — not gimmicks or guesswork.

Child wellbeing

Short sessions, gentle motivation and no dark patterns. We measure success by confident, healthy learners, never by hours glued to a screen.

Our commitment to safety

Children’s safety comes first

Designing for children carries real responsibility, and we take it seriously. There is no advertising, no profiling of children and no open or social features that could expose a child to strangers or unsuitable content. A parent or guardian always creates and controls the account, and for children under 13 we require verifiable parental consent before a child can use the service.

Read more about how we protect children in our Children’s Privacy Notice and our Safeguarding statement.

We keep these commitments under regular review and welcome questions from parents, carers and schools at any time.

Built for your child, respectful of your family
